17th ESA Conference 2026

Every other year since 1992, the European Sociological Association organises a big conference in different European countries.

From 25 to 28 August 2026 over 3800 participants from all over the world are expected to join the 17th ESA Conference. The theme of the conference this year is Strengthening Democracies: Social Action, Solidarity, and Sustainable Futures.

VALOR partners Joanna Tusznio, Agata Warchalska-Troll, Małgorzata Grodzińska-Jurczak will participate with the abstract Invisible Pollinators, Invisible Values: Cultural Knowledge and Recognition in Western Societies.

The ESA 2026 Conference will take place fully in person.
